Deceuninck is delighted to announce that it has been awarded a Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Gold Medal for its commitment to health and safety for the 6th consecutive year.

“We’re focused on consistently delivering innovation and market leading products,” says Deceuninck’s Rob McGlennon. “We also take the safety of our employees seriously across the organisation and this award is testament to that. With Merits, Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards available, we’re thrilled to be walking away with a Gold Medal for achieving the gold award for the 6th consecutive time.”

Through the RoSPA Awards scheme, which is open to businesses and organisations of all types and sizes from across the UK and overseas, judges consider entrants’ overarching occupational health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement. The awards are now in their 61st year.

Julia Small, RoSPA’s head of awards and events, says: “The RoSPA Awards are the most prestigious in the world of occupational health and safety, and held in high regard around the world, as winning one demonstrates an organisation’s commitment to maintaining an excellent health and safety record. Achieving the standard required is no mean feat.”

Rob concludes: “A special thank you goes to Lew Harvey, Deceuninck’s Health & Safety co-ordinator, who’s worked hard overseeing the Health & Safety policy and entry submission.”
